My name is Nathan Dukes, I'm an artist, photographer and graphic designer from Sydney, Australia. I'm a ten-year veteran of the newspaper industry, working as a reporter and designer.

More recently, I've put my skills in graphic design and visual storytelling into landscape photography.

What started as a hobby whilst travelling turned into something more serious on a trip to New York in 2016, where I began thinking critically about style and composition.

There are striking similarities between my style of painting and landscape photography. I am drawn to rich blacks, striking contrast, bold colours and the balance between light and shadow.
