Bronte Pink Sunset
Nathan Dukes, 2018
Bronte Baths, Sydney, Australia
Fujifilm X-T2, 14mm, F7.1, ISO320, 30s
Typically photographers associate Bronte Baths with sunrise, thanks to the wonderful shapes and reflections that can be achieved looking east into the rising sun.
But I was fortunate enough to see something spectacular at the opposite end of the day. As the sun set far to the left of
this image, vibrant pinks and purple shades shot out across the northern sky.
I was able to frame this photograph quite easily, with the stunning sky creating the illusion of an infinity pool and blurring the line between the waves of the beach and the turquoise baths.
