I'm proud to announce I was recently shortlisted in the Australian Photography Magazine's Photographer of the Year Competition for 2018.
My entry of four photos in the Landscape Photographer of the Year category received a Highly Commended classification, and my individual entry in the Photograph of the Year category received a Commended.
It's not a bad effort for only my first photography competition entry! Hopefully it's a sign of good things to come in 2019, and with some hard work and a little luck maybe I can share some more good news soon. There are many more photography competitions coming up this year, both here in Australia and abroad, and I'm already planning ahead with ideas for entries and thinking about what makes a winning entry.
